The entire concept of School 2.0 is not waiting for futuristic technology like hovercrafts and jetpacks to be invented, but to simply expose students to the unknown world of the internet that already exists. The internet, when incorporated into our curriculums, links students around the globe instead of confining them to the walls of the classroom. With the technological ability to converse with virtually anyone, why only allow ourselves to discuss our school subjects with our classmates? Just imagine what school would be like if every high school student grasped the idea of blogging. Any subject can be discussed online with any other student on any point on the globe. It almost seems as if every student is any other student’s classmate, and the internet is the classroom. Every student is linked to every other, and the possibilities are endless. Students can collaborate and accomplish assignments together from different school districts or even different nations.

Within your blog, you give numerous good points on what to expect from Technology based schools in the future. the only aspect of your blog that I would change would be to include not only the assets that the schools of tomorrow will have on school students, but how in today’s world the computer already has a huge effect on the school system. Here are a few points that I would include concerning the effect that computer’s within schools have had on students:
* Students usually learn more in less time when they receive computer-based instruction.
* Students like their classes more and develop more positive attitudes toward computers when their classes include computer-based instruction.
With just a few statements such as these included within your blog, it can become that much better.
Check out this teenager’s blog from Great Britain:
