Representation

Represent… a simple word, yet the meanings for any individual can be endless. For me one memory comes into mind:
My mom owns a daycare center where I have grown up and her daycare has come a second home to me.  I work there now which is a rewarding feeling.  But what makes me happy is seeing adults that come in with their kids, but those adults have gone to the daycare center when they were younger.  When I see a mother or father walk in with their child I can see how the child represents the parent.  I can see certain traits or certain behaviors that the parents themselves carry.  “The children are our future,” I absolutely agree… in fact that’s the daycare’s motto.

I would love to know more about your role as a young adult in the daycare, in shaping the future of the children you influence.  I wonder what traits they carry from you.  question
