Emerson: Young American

1.  It is a piece supporting American manifestation.  It contains Emerson’s opinions about trade and the effects that land can give to a country. 

2.  The youth of the new America need to take advantage of America’s resources and opportunities to create a stronger America.

3.  Adams would agree with Emerson in their belief that America needs trade and transportation to become powerful.  Jefferson would also agree with Emerson that the future of America lies in the common, “young American”.

Extra Credit:  The children are the future of America.
