I will call Mary Anne concerning the possibility of the Supervision Workshop. After I get feedback from her, I will let you know if she recommends the workshop for us. If so, I will send a hard copy of the Supervision Workshop.

I sent Mary Anne the One-Day Seminar “How to Supervise People”. This is a Fred Pryor Seminar.
Just to give you an overview until we hear from Mary Anne, the seminar provides a comprehensive workbook that is suppose to serve as a dependable reference and refresher long after the seminar.
The workbook contains:
1. indispensable planning and coaching checklists
a listening awareness self-test
2. the “Ideas for Action” plan
3. the Employee Commitment Assessment
4. the Practical Planning Checklist
charts, guidelines, and other checklists to helpyou continue to draw on the informaion you learn at the seminar.Although it does not pertain Danielson’s four domains, it certainly enrolls tips and strategies for supervisory success.
Will keep in touch,

Message from Mary Anne: I reviewed the information packet you sent me. Although I think we do learn from business, I would be cautious because business folks do not supervise instruction. They supervise and manage production. If you feel strongly that you could learn something, I am ok with you going and taking one other administrator. I don’t think I want to support this workshop for all administrators. I think there might be something else that is specific to supervision of instruction that we could benefit from as a team. (Mary Anne, thanks for your feedback.)
Let’s be on the lookout for a more specific workshop/seminar specific to supervision of instruction. Bobbie
